ATTRACTION ONE
Role: Custom bottle, closure and packaging design for Avon’s first unisex fragrance launch.
Challenge: Design new gender neutral Attraction fragrance pillar targeting GenY couples. Bottle shapes need to appear interconnected when together yet remain uniquely appealing when separate.
Insight: The fragrances have a shared accord, so consumers can identify with both regardless of gender and connect it to personal love stories and intimate feelings.
Solution: Created one component shape to be shared by both skus, reducing tooling costs. Side-by-side bottles curve and twist towards each other. Carton designs mimic bottle curves and use holographic hotstamp inspired by blurred gender lines and shared olfactive accord.
